Information on Prints
Quality of Prints
All prints are produced with museum-grade materials for long-lasting color depth and durability. The printing process meets the highest standards used by artists, photographers, galleries and museums. In the professional art world, this technique is known as giclée printing.
Limited Edition & Signature
Each print is part of a carefully controlled, studio-limited edition. Every print is individually hand-signed, dated and numbered by the artist.
Product images display my initials in the lower right corner. These are digital protection marks to help prevent unauthorised use and do not appear on the physical print.
The paper
The print is produced on Hahnemühle White Velvet 270 gsm, acid-free fine art paper.
How long does the print last?
The print is archival and designed to maintain its color depth and detail for generations.
Is the print protected?
Yes, each print is hand-finished with a professional matte spray that protects the surface from UV light, dust and fingerprints. This treatment keeps the colors true and the paper beautifully matte.
I use high-quality artist-grade sprays (Lascaux or Hahnemühle), designed specifically for fine art prints. The coating is invisible and gives the work a soft, natural appearance.
Packaging
Prints only are shipped flat and securely packaged so they arrive in perfect condition.
Finished prints ready for display arrive safely in a sturdy box.
How should it be cared for?
To preserve the beauty of your print, avoid direct sunlight and smoky environments. The surface is protected with a matte coating, but like all artworks, it is best kept away from moisture or heat. Dust gently with a soft dry brush if needed.
No special cleaning products are required.

Return Policy
All prints are made to order. Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or returned.
Before placing an order, please review all product details carefully, including size and finish. Once your order is confirmed, the artwork selection and print specifications cannot be changed. Shipping details can be updated while the print is still in production. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to make an address change.
Your print should arrive in perfect condition. If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery at jvdengel@hotmail.com, including clear photographs of both the damaged print and its packaging. I take great care in the production and packaging process, and if damage occurs during shipping, a replacement will be arranged at no additional cost.

Shipping costs are not included in the artwork price and will be added at checkout based on your delivery address.

Every order is tracked and insured
Each print is carefully packaged, fully insured, and shipped with tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information so you can follow your parcel all the way to your doorstep.
When can I expect my print to arrive?
Production times vary depending on the selected option:
Prints only are usually dispatched within one week
Finished prints ready for display take around 2 weeks for production and dispatch
Estimated delivery times after dispatch
- Within the Netherlands: 1-2 business days
- Within European Union: 2-4 business days
- To the United States: 4-7 business days
- Rest of the world: 5-10 business days
Please note that delivery times may vary due to local postal services and international processing.
Orders are shipped through trusted carriers such as PostNL, DHL Express or similar international delivery services.
Do I need to pay customs or import taxes?
If you are ordering from within the European Union, no customs duties or import taxes will apply.
For orders shipped outside the EU (for example to the US, UK or other countries) additional fees may apply once the artwork reaches your country. These can include import taxes, local sales tax or customs duties, depending on your country's regulations and the shipment value. Please check with your local customs authority for details if you are unsure..
While artwork is often exempt from customs duties in some countries, other taxes or collection fees might still be charged. If a shipment is returned due to unpaid import charges or refusal of delivery, you will remain responsible for related costs.
